The FLOTUS added a little bit of color to the all-tan ensemble with her shoe and bag. Her footwear is a croc-embossed red patent leather pump with a pointed toe and a thin heel.

Melania's handbag is a square-handbag with the same texture as her shoes. The former model wore the outfit to the National Defense Authorization Act, signing at a military base in Maryland.

The FLOTUS shared a 41 seconds clip of the visit on her Twitter account, and the words,

"During this holiday season, we send our prayers to all members of the military serving overseas. Our nation is with you, and thank you for all the sacrifices you make to keep us safe."

The mom-of-one got a lot of goodwill from her followers, with one person commending her for representing the nation with class and grace. Another called the First lady "Amazing" and thanked her for making Americans proud.

"On behalf of the First Lady, Vice-President Mark Pence, Mrs. Pence, I want to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas, [and] a Happy New Year."

The event was the last for the First Family before heading to the Trumps' estate in Florida. They arrived at their Mar-a-Lago resort in a motorcade that brought them from the Palm Beach International Airport.

Melania wore her hair in her signature loose style. The First Family also spent their Thanksgiving at the resort and will be there until after the New Year.
