Madonna, the self-proclaimed queen of pop, is a performer first before most things in her life. This is why not being able to do what she loves became a bit too much, and in a Twitter post, she wrote alongside a 2 minutes 4 seconds video,

"I was in tears from the pain of my injuries, which has been indescribable for the past few days."

The singer, who had to cancel her show in Miami due to the unnamed injury continued,

"With every song I sang, I said a prayer that I would make it to the next, and get through the show. My prayers were answered, and I made it."

In an Instagram post with the same video, Madonna went on to write that she considers herself a warrior. The award-winning star added that while she is not a quitter, she had to listen to her body.

The "Les La Bonita" singer has been experiencing pain for a while. She has undergone several tests and x-rays, and her doctor's advice afterward was to rest for an extended period.

The photos raised a lot of eyebrows as the "Material Girl" singer, and the young man has a 36-year age gap. But since age is just a number, Madonna doesn't mind.

Failure to rest might lead to more damages that might become irreparable. With that warning, the mom-of-six canceled her last Miami show to give her body time to heal.

Madonna admits that there is no shame in pressing the stop button and accepting her humanity. Addressing her fans, she added,

"I thank you all for your understanding, love, and support. As the words to Batuka goes, it's a long road, and Lord have mercy."

The Michigan-born singer has been on her Madame X tour. After the cancelation last month, Madonna got spotted getting cozy with her backup dancer, Ahlamalik Williams.

The photos raised a lot of eyebrows as the "Material Girl" singer, and the young man has a 36-year age gap. But since age is just a number, Madonna doesn't mind.

According to Hollywood Life, the singer's oldest child, Lourdes Leon Ciccone, who is a year older than Williams does not mind. She supports her mother's relationship with the dancer.

The Grammy-winning musician is also mom to Rocco Richuie, and she adopted David Banda, Mercy James, and the twins, Estere, and Stella Mwale.

As she listens to her body and continues her rest, Madonna will rely on her children for support and spend her time with them.
