Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie have been together for 28 years now, and their new family picture from their holiday celebration just proves how much love they have for one another after almost three decades.
The Johnson family didn't need to dress up in usual Christmas colors to celebrate the holiday season, as being together already gave them a fun festive feeling.
Cookie Johnson made sure to share a couple of family pictures in time for the holidays, everyone with big smiles on their faces, clearly happy to be together despite all their busy schedules.
The same way Cookie and Magic now celebrate their 28th year of marriage, the NBA player also celebrates his 28th anniversary of his HIV announcement.

In their almost three decades of marriage, Magic and Cookie Johnson have had to go through a lot. However, through it all, they've remained strong as a unit and their love always prevailed.
Now, they celebrated yet another Christmas and New Year as a family, surrounded by their children and grandchildren, savoring the moment together.
The same way Cookie and Magic now celebrate their 28th year of marriage, the NBA player also celebrates the 28th anniversary of his HIV announcement, something that stunned his fans and supporters back in the day.
Earvin "Magic" Johnson was once one of the best NBA players to ever play in the league and was one of those many looked up to as well.
That is why on November 7, 1991, when he announced that he had contracted HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, many were in disbelief that he cheated on his loyal wife Cookie, and contracted a disease because of it.
At the same time, his announcement saw the end of his NBA career. At the time, he was considered the best point guard of the league, a three-time league and Finals MVP, a five-time world champion, and a man who played the finals nine out of 12 times in his seasons in the NBA.
Cookie and Magic Johnson were only married for two months at the time of his announcement. She was pregnant with their son E.J. during the press conference, and she stood right beside him at the podium.
Through it all, her strength has been praised by many, and it could be the reason why they've remained a strong unit over the years.
