Dog's Most Wanted star, Dakota Chapman, poses with his infant son, as he reflects on the previous year, and shares a positive message for his followers about the year to come.

Duane "Dog" Chapman and Beth Chapman's grandson, Dakota Chapman, showed off his adorable infant son. In a picture will a touching message for the new year attached, he said:

"Starting 2020 with good vibes and a positive mindset. Even though this past year had a lot of tears, stress and heartache...it also brought happiness and love."

In the picture, Dakota is standing on the edge of a mountain that overlooked the city. With his son, Asher Chapman, on his back, they both appeared to be looking over the horizon at the scenery below.

In his caption, he mentioned the importance of embracing "natural beauty and quality of life." He said, because it something he feels people take for granted as a result of busy lifestyles.

The young father wished his followers a happy new year and encouraged them to set goals for themselves in the coming year and to not give up on achieving their dreams.

The 24-year-old's positive message for the coming year had many fans sending him well-wishing. The mention of "heartache" is his caption, also had fans giving him support as he grieves over the death of his step-grandmother, Beth.

is one of three children, from "Dog's" son

had with his ex-wife Maui Chapman. Before her death, Beth was fortunate enough to meet her great-grandson.

Sharing a picture of the first time she held Asher in her arms, in January 2019, Beth gushed over her first greatgrandchild and said she felt inspired to witness the birth of a new generation of Chapmans.

Dakota is the second generation of Chapman's that are taking charge of the family's bounty hunting business. In a rare moment of the two together, Beth previously gushed over Dakota and said:

"Seriously the best grandson of all times @dakotadog808 you know he loves his Grandma when he's not afraid to carry my purse."

Beth died of stage four lung cancer in June 2019. It is reported, after her death, Dakota shared his loss by posting on his Instagram story some of his favorite and rarely scenes photos of her and the family.
