Even as a supporting character, Mama Deeks quickly became a fan-favorite in the latest episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles."

The thirteenth episode of the ongoing season aired on Sunday night, introducing a center of attraction, Deeks mom, who left viewers in high spirits and glued to the tv screen throughout the hour-run show.

MAMA DEEKS STEALS THE SHOW

The "NCIS: LA" Season 11 episode titled "High Society" saw the team tackle prevailing demand for black market opioids, eventually linking it to terrorist activities, funded by the proceeds from the illegal trade.

Amid the severe investigations and tedious briefings, agent Deeks' mom was on hand to keep the edge off, both on and off the screen, spreading her humor to the other characters on the show, while giving viewers tons to laugh about.

The fan-favorite's high spirit soon rubbed off on her son, Deeks, played by Eric Christian Olsen, who was glad to see his mom happy, although he pretended otherwise.

The comic figure was growing accustomed to her new year's resolution to "give up on shame" and embrace the fear, while taking little steps like opening up more and blurting out every thought that crossed her mind, with the lovable agent mostly on the receiving end.

The portrayal of the 5k trainee by Roberta Paula, Mama Deeks's roleplayer, made for an hour-long series of comedy. Humour definitely runs in the family.

"NCIS: LA" FANS SING PRAISES OF MAMA DEEKS

Another shared her thoughts saying, "Mama Deeks is awesome," while a third officially welcomed the agent's mom to the CBS series.

One fan recalled moments the full-of-life mom spent with her daughter-in-law, Kensi, after a long day of watching the favorite couple go about their crime-fighting mission, noting that every time the two got talking, "it breathes life into the show."

FAVORITE COUPLE, DEEKS AND KENSI'S RELATIONSHIP ON AND OFF THE SCREEN

Since the couple's first kiss on the series about two seasons ago, as well as the sparks shared between them long before, Deeks and Kensi crept into the hearts of CBS' "NCIS" lovers, becoming the favorite duo in no time.

After a brief period of field romance, the pair tied the knots, cementing their union as a couple, with more intimate scenes coming to play.

However, what's shocking about the pair's relationship is that the junior field agent, Kensi, played by Daniella Ruah and Christian Olsen (Deeks), had a connection that went beyond the screens. Daniella Ruah was the real-life bride of Christian's brother, David Paul Olsen!

The first kiss of the screen couple spurred lots of reactions from viewers, with the most dramatic displayed by television icon, Queen Latifah, during a talk with the 37-year-old actress on her show.

When questioned about what it felt like to get to be intimate with her husband's brother, the actress admitted that it was weird, but they tried to be professional about it. She explained:

"We are so invested in the characters, and are so interested in the audience following these characters being happy with what's happening on the show, and we try to stay faithful to that more than anything else."

As for how her husband dealt with it, she pointed out that the father of her two kids was in the business, and so understood it was all acting and "everybody knows what that feels like," she added.

ERIC HAS A FAMILY AS WELL

To further complicate the predominantly Hollywood family, agent Deeks is also married to actress, Sarah Wright. The two did their nuptials in 2012, and have since become parents to two adorable children.

THE CBS "NCIS: LA" SERIES

The Sunday weekly drama portrays a special forces sector of the NCIS responsible for apprehending dangerous and elusive criminals, mostly going undercover into the hearth of the crime until the mystery is solved, and the criminal brought to book.

The team lead, Henrietta, fondly referred to on "NCIS: LA" as Hetty, is charged with ensuring her team members are adequately equipped for each mission. Although she stays off the field majorly, she is often the brains behind the team's success.

The next episode of this amazing crime thriller, "NCIS: Los Angeles," would air next Sunday night, January 19, 2020, by 9 pm.
