With the new year, the royal decided to advance her movement on children's welfare; she plans to tour the whole country, with her focus on nurseries in Birmingham, London, Cardiff, and Surrey.
Her first visit seemed commendable as she interacted passionately with the youngsters. A post via the Kensington royal read:
"We want you to have your say in the biggest ever conversation on early childhood and help bring about positive, lasting change for generations to come."
It comes as no surprise that her interest lies in the welfare of growing kids, as she is a mother to three adorable kids whom she shares with her husband, Prince William.
The duo never fails to be diligent in their duty, both as parents and senior members of the Royal family. In the absence of Queen Elizabeth, both Kate and William made the UK- Africa Investment Summit a success in Buckingham palace.
The Queen was not so pleased with this decision, but she maintained her support for her grandson after a 2-hour family summit.
The hosts were joined by Prince Edward, William's uncle and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex. Another family member who graced the event was Princess Anne, the Queen's daughter.
During the summit, Prince William gave a heartwarming speech and indicated that he and his brother, Prince Harry, share a connection with the African continent. In his words :
"The African continent holds a very special place in my heart. It is the place my father took my brother and me shortly after our mother died."
William continued by expressing how this connection influenced him to propose to Kate in Africa. Prince Harry has some incredible experiences with the continent also; he recently took his family on a trip to South Africa.
Being a husband to Meghan Markle and a new dad to his toddler son, Archibald Mountbatten Windsor, has made Harry focus more on his family's needs.
