Marcia Harvey, the first wife of famous comedian and TV personality Steve Harvey, just celebrated her 65th birthday. Her proud daughter made sure to greet her through her Instagram stories.

Marcia stayed with Steve for more than a decade, getting married in 1980. Together, they share twin daughters Brandi and Karli. While she's kept a low profile since their divorce, she is successful in her own right.

Steve went on to re-marry twice, now being happily married to Marjorie Harvey, whom he has been married to since 2007.

STEVE ABANDONED MARCIA AND THEIR TWINS

However, after 14 years together, they parted ways in 1994 because of Steve's determination to be a comedian. While he wanted to chase his dream, his wife hoped he'd go another way in fear of letting poverty get the best of them.

At the time, he had to leave behind Marcia and their twin daughters in hopes of making it in Holywood. Years later, he earned the forgiveness of his twin daughters after he abandoned them.

"I'm married, I have twins, I'm supposed to provide for them, but I had to take this chance. Years later they said to me, ‘Dad, we didn’t understand why you left us, but we know now you had to go. You didn’t just belong to us. You belonged to the world.’"

Through everything that happened, Marcia had to raise her twin daughters as a single mother, and that's something her daughters continue to admire of her.

She did not give up, and up until today, she is a successful businesswoman who built everything from the ground up. That is why on her special day, her daughters make sure to celebrate her for the strong, resilient, and hardworking woman that she is.

Steve went on to re-marry twice, now being happily married to Marjorie Harvey, whom he has been married to since 2007.

While Marcia's kept a low profile through the years, one member of Steve's family is receiving a lot of airtime in the industry nowadays, and that's Lori Harvey.

Lori Harvey is Marjorie Harvey's daughter and step-daughter of the TV show host. She's been grabbing headlines since being rumored to date rappers like Diddy, before being seen on a PDA-spree with Future.

In fact, a fan even called her the "GOAT," because so many people continue to crush on her. One fan tweeted:
