Daily Joke: Little Boy Scared of Thunderstorm Asks If He Can Sleep with His Mom
Today's #jokeoftheday is about a young boy who cried to his mother and sought her company during a vicious thunderstorm.
For most kids, a thunderstorm is equivalent to their worst nightmare that requires their parents' presence to get through it. However, what happens when one parent is afraid?
On one summer evening, there was a violent thunderstorm, and little Ben was afraid, so his mother tucked him into bed to keep him safe.
As soon as she was done putting him in bed and wanted to turn off the lights, Bell reaches out to her with a tremor in his voice. He said:
"Mommy, will you sleep with me tonight?"
The doting mother smiled at Ben and told him she couldn't sleep with him. He asked why and she responded:
"I have to sleep in daddy's room."
Little Ben looked at his mom and replied to her with a shaking voice, saying, "That big sissy."
Another thunderstorm joke tells the story of a traveler who was stuck on the side of the road, hitchhiking during an intense thunderstorm.
Time passed by the man was still stranded looking for a vehicle to come to his aid. After a while, he saw a car in the dark approaching slowly. It slowly crept toward him and stopped.
Desperate to leave the road, the man jumped into the car without hesitation and closed the door only for him to realize that there was no one in the driver's seat.
The man was terrified, but he was too scared to him out and be left on the street, so he stayed out. Again, the car kept moving slowly and was soon approaching a bend.
The guy was still too afraid to jump out of the car, so he began praying that God should spare his life. He was convinced beyond doubt that the ghost car would drive into the river.
However, to his surprise, just before he reached the bend, a hand reached in from the driver's window to turn the steering of the car. After completing the curve, the hand disappeared through the window, and the traveler was left alone.
He was so afraid and kept watching the hand appear and disappear whenever they reached a curve.
Finally, the guy had enough and decided to jump out of the moving vehicle. He ran through the storm and was able to arrive at a nearby town.
Wet and in shock, the man stepped into a bar and ordered two shots of whiskey, before telling everyone of his supernatural experience.
Everyone listened to him in awe and had goosebumps all over their body. They observed that the hitchhiker was sober and concluded that he was telling the absolute truth.
Outside the bar, the storm continued, and about an hour and a half later, two guys walked in. Upon entering the bar, they saw the hitchhiker and said:
"Look, Billy Bob, there's that fool that rode in our car while we was pushing it in the rain."
Who could have thought that was what happened!
