EXPLAINING THEIR DECISION
Now, the reality TV star detailed the situation to TheJasmineBRAND exclusively, saying there have been people saying negative and disrespectful things about her children and she'd much rather just laugh about it.
It turns out, the reason why they were against vaccinating was that the twins' father is vegan by practice, and she did the same prior to her pregnancy and all throughout.
ADVICE TO PARENTS UNDERGOING THE SAME THING
Dixon went on to give advice to parents who are considering not to have their kids vaccinated, she says she stands with them through the decision.
"Everyone is free to form their own decision when it comes to their children…We have to learn to agree to disagree without being disrespectful. Especially those that wish death on my children because they aren’t vaccinated."
A CHANGE OF HEART
Aside from her 8-month old twin daughter, Erica shares a teenage daughter, Emani, with Lil Scrappy. Erica admits that she and her teenage daughter Emani are vaccinated, but she decided not to have her twins undergo the same thing.
While she's been facing a lot of criticism for her decision, she remains unfazed and is focused on taking care of her family. After all, she acknowledges that people are a lot braver on the internet, but would not necessarily share their opinions to her face.
Dixon is extra careful when it comes to the twins because they were born with complications that left them in the hospital for quite a while. Of course, the doting mother never left their side during those times.
