It has been over a week since Kobe Bryant departed from this world to the great beyond. But he is still getting tributes from those whose lives he touched, and those who he inspired with his selflessness.

Arlington National Cemetery is the latest to pay tribute to the deceased NBA star. The government-owned burial place shared on Twitter a throwback photo of the five-time NBA champion during a visit in 2012.

The photo showed the late Bryant standing beside another athlete dressed in a tracksuit. Their teammates and a small crowd of civilians stood behind them, and the two men stood facing a giant wreath.

The wreath was supported by a stand, and a serviceman stood in salute beside the wreath and the men. ANC wrote alongside the photo,

The snap has since gotten over a hundred retweets and 700 likes. It spoke of Bryant's continuous service and dedication to his community, state, and country.

The deceased played in the 2012 Olympics alongside other top players from the NBA. The USA team was under the leadership of LeBron James, and Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and Black Griffin also made the team.

He added that he cried while trying to make sense of the news and couldn't believe it at first.

Team USA finished with an eight to zero record. They had an average score of 116 points in each game, scoring their highest — 156 — against the West Africa country, Nigeria.

Bryant died along with eight others, including his daughter, Gianna, on the morning of January 26th. The group was flying to the Mamba Sports Academy when the helicopter they were traveling in crashed.

The late NBA star's death impacted a lot of people. Case in point is Manny Sandoval, a former attendant of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Sandoval met Bryant when he got the job with the Lakers in '96. He told "Rock 94.7" that hearing that the MVP died was a punch to his gut.

He added that he cried while trying to make sense of the news and couldn't believe it at first. The former attendant worked 22 seasons for the Lakers and described Bryant as someone who was goal-oriented.

Sandoval also referred to the deceased as his brother for life. The late NBA star shined like a bright light in his 41 years, and his brightness continues to light the way for others.
