Jennifer Esposito from 'Blue Bloods' Reportedly Set to Debut in a New Hit Show
"Blue Bloods" actress Jennifer Esposito is about to join the cast and crew of another hit T.V. series produced by Netflix to play a significant role.
Created by "Grey's Anatomy's" initiator, Shonda Rhimes, the mini-show, "Inventing Anna," one of Netflix's most recent projects is a drama series intended to have only ten episodes.
Filming has already begun. Esposito will star alongside Julia Garner and Anna Chlumsky in the forthcoming series.

INVENTING ANNA
David Frankel, who directed and executive produced the first episode, "How Anna Delvey Tricked New York's Party People," has one more episode left to produce. The pilot episode's title was based on a viral article written by journalist, Jessica Pressler.
The short series tells the story of an American journalist (Chlumsky) who is on a mission to arrest famous Instagram celebrity and New York socialite Anna Delvey (Garner) while investigating the German heiress for money laundering.
The affluent Delvey's source of wealth creates suspicions for the young reporter who'll stop at nothing to bring her down.
The actress has portrayed different characters in movies and television, but most striking in the hearts of fans are her roles as a detective in "Blue Bloods" and as a special agent in "NCIS."
Esposito will feature in the show as Talia Malay, a wealthy business owner of one of the lifestyle brands in N.Y city. The show includes a sizable number of actors and is executive produced by Rhimes, Frankel, Pressler and Betsy Beers.
EXITING THE SHOW
According to The Hollywood Reporter, while filming season 3 of the police drama almost ten years back, Esposito collapsed due to complications she already had from a Celiac ailment.
Jennifer wrote a book to explain her state and also reach out to those who might be suffering from the medical condition. Subsequently, she quit the show in 2012 as her "character" in "Blue Bloods" took an extended leave of absence.
Four years later, in 2016, Esposito made a T.V. comeback in the CBS series NCIS. She also featured in television programs such as "Mistresses," "The Affair," "Blindspot," and "The Boys."
COMIC DUTIES
The actress has portrayed different characters in movies and television, but most striking in the hearts of fans are her roles as a detective in "Blue Bloods" and as a special agent in "NCIS."
Esposito isn't new to comedy, but she might find this quite different since it's been a long time since she's featured in any comic or satirical role.
Fans can't wait to see the star in the new role as she currently features in the Comedy Central series "Akwafina is Nora."
