US Weekly: Khloé Kardashian's Family Remains Protective of Her Amid Tristan Thompson Scandal
Reality star, Khloe Kardashian, has formed a relationship with her ex, as good friends and co-parent since his 2019 cheating scandal, but the Cleveland Cavaliers player has made it clear that he wants much more.
The Kardashians are reportedly very protective of Khloe Kardashian, especially on matters of the heart.
A source revealed to "US Weekly" that although the celebrity family has forgiven the 35-year old's ex, Tristain Thompson, they still held certain reservations about accepting him back into Khloe's life.

LOOKING OUT FOR A SISTER
Khloe's world hit a major milestone last year after her then-boyfriend, Tristain, 28 cheated on her with Kylie Jenner's ex-best friend, Jordyn Woods.
The mother of one, however, managed to overcome her devastation and moved on. She has since formed an amicable friendship with the NBA star, who was far from moving on. Disclosing the Jenner-Kardashians' take on the matter, an insider explained:
"They have forgiven Tristan in some regards, but they are still very protective of Khloe, her feelings and of course, True. They know Khloe is smart and will make the right decision for herself."
The source went on to add that the family was confident that even without their intervention, the Good American co-founder would make the right choice best for her and the rest of the clan.
Since their split, Tristan has been open about his unresolved feelings for the model, and his desire to rekindle their flame.
An insider previously disclosed that the basketball icon's attempts to win back his ex made the "revenge Body" star feel good, but that was it as she could never get to trust him again.
TRISTAN IS UNFLINCHING
The NBA star has gone all out to win back the mother of his child, leaving her flirtatious messages and comments on social media posts, while showing up at the Kardashians family events.
His "daddy duties" to their one-year-old, True Thompson has also made for more excuses for the former couple to spend time together, raising speculations about a possible reunion.

KHLOE'S MIND IS MADE UP
Apparently, all Tristan's moves to win back his queen have failed to hit home. Her only care for him has remained having him be a great dad to their daughter, who deserved the love and attention of both parents. Other than that, a relationship between them was non-existent, a source confirmed:
"Khloe and Tristan are not back together. This is not anything that Khloe is interested in, but they are getting along great."

HAVE THE KARDASHIANS TRULY FORGIVEN HIM?
It seems the "KUWTK" stars have sincerely gone past their differences with the father of two. Earlier this month, Kim and Khloe had an in-depth conversation about Tristan, and how much extension of goodwill was "beyond generous."
On the 18th episode of the family reality show, the 39-year-old Kardashian sister recounted getting a phone call from the athlete, which turned into an invitation to dinner.
Khloe's reaction was not as extreme as one would expect over such admission as she handled the situation maturely, while the others seemed okay as well with the dinner invite, and that's progress!
