ANGELA DEFIES AGE
Bassett shared two pictures from the Awards Night, the first one highlighting her beautiful green outfit, which she accessorized with a sequined green clutch bag and matching green strappy heels.
In another photo, she posed alongside Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, who looked gorgeous in a patterned Mary Katrantzou gown. The "Truth Hurts" hitmaker was also a nominee and winner that night, for "Entertainer of the Year."
AN ALL-AROUND ACTRESS
Angela Bassett is one of Hollywood's veteran actresses, and she's one of those that make sure she gives back to the community for all the blessings she's received.
During the holiday season, she and the rest of her family spent a day with "Union Rescue Mission," where they gave back to underprivileged communities to make their holidays a lot more special.
A GENEROUS FAMILY
Dressed in casual clothes and protective aprons, the Bassett family went down to business at a cafeteria to distribute food to others. Of their experience, she said:
"Hey everybody, you good? Instagam, socks, underwear, toiletries, money, and prayers! These are some beautiful folks. We are all a family when we get right down to it. #UnionRescueMission #GivingIsBetterThanGetting"
A CHAMPION OF MANY CAUSES
This is only one of the many organizations that the actress has partnered with, as she is also passionate about good health, particularly working with the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
It comes with no surprise that at 61-years-old, Angela's career still blossoms. Whenever she's not busy with her multiple projects, she's out helping other people, and good karma just continues to flow her way because of it.
