Daily Mail: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Reportedly May Skip Princess Beatrice's Wedding a Friend Claimed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not attend the upcoming royal wedding between Princess Breatrice and her fiance, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's, according to a friend.

Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that they would be tying the knot, it's been one drama episode to another, which has recently intensified due to their orchestrated exit from royal duties.

According to a report from The Daily Mail, a friend to the couple explained that they could miss the upcoming wedding of Princess Beatrice and British real estate mogul Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The report explained that while the royal family has extended an invitation to Harry and Meghan, the couple reserves the right to decide on whether they'd be willing to attend the event or not. The friend added,

"The trouble with Harry and Meghan is that they think they are bigger than the institution. It's such a shame things have turned out like this."

Ever since Meghan became the Duchess of Sussex, it's been one barrage of negative press after another, as several reports churned rumors of a falling out between her and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

The Suxxeses' transition seems to have affected Harry's relationship with his cousin Beatrice as well.

‪This evening The Duke and Duchess of Sussex accompanied Her Majesty The Queen and members of @TheRoyalFamily to the annual @RoyalBritishLegion Festival of Remembrance. This special event, which has taken place every year since 1923 at the @RoyalAlbertHall, commemorates all those who have lost their lives in conflicts.‬ • ‪This year’s Festival marked the 75th anniversary of a number of crucial battles of 1944, with a particular emphasis on the collaboration and friendship of the British, Commonwealth and Allied armies who fought them. A unique tribute was given to acknowledge those involved both past and present, culminating in a special parade of some of the last surviving veterans who fought and served in 1944.‬ • ‪Their Royal Highnesses, who last year attended their first Festival of Remembrance together, were honoured to once again pay tribute to all casualties of war and remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.‬ ‪#FestivalOfRemembrance ‪#WeWillRememberThem‬ Photo © PA / Royal British Legion

As most media outlets explained, the animosity between both women has also extended beyond them and has affected the relationship between Harry and his older brother, Prince William, as well.

Despite attempts by all parties to downplay any tension, the narrative has been fodder for tabloid houses for years. The drama intensified earlier this year, when both Harry and Meghan announced that they would be taking up lives as private citizens, going forward.

Having attended the 10th Annual One Young World opening ceremony on Tuesday, The Duchess of Sussex was joined today by The Duke of Sussex for a round table discussion on gender equity with OYW and Queen’s Commonwealth Trust young leaders. Over the last few days, these young leaders became @OneYoungWorld ambassadors with the intention to return to their communities and further existing initiatives to help change the world for the better. This year OYW partnered with the @Queens_Commonwealth_Trust, of which The Duke and Duchess are President and Vice-President respectively, to provide scholarships to young leaders driving positive social impact in the Commonwealth. This was the most exciting collaboration between two groups The Duchess is passionate about and has been working with for some time. The two of them have had meetings with Buckingham Palace over their "transition," and as an official notice showed, they have now stepped back entirely from their royal duties.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have now moved to the Vancouver Islands, inCanada, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from churning.

Apart from the fractured relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Suxxeses' transition — which the media dubbed "Megxit" — seems to have affected Harry's relationship with his cousin Beatrice as well.

Cosmopolitan, however, reported on Tuesday, that Harry and Meghan would be attending Beatrice's wedding, so the fans of the royal family would have to wait and see for now.
