R&B singer Syleena Johnson showed off her stunning profile as her trim figure gave life to a marching purple top and skirt.

Syleena Johnson has a rich musical heritage. Her father was R&B singer "Soul Man" Syl Johnson, and he helped plant the seed of a singing career when she was three.

The young Johnson soon outgrew her father's small home studio and went for the spotlight. At 22, she joined the "Jive Label," and the rest, they say, is history.

Beyond her singing career, the "I Am Your Woman" crooner also enjoys fashion, and her fans never run out of her beautiful shots.

In a recent Instagram post, the performer showed off her trim figure in a purple outfit, and the result was nothing short of gorgeous. The post read:

"Getting ready for Spring in this form fitted two piece by the amazing @evamendes for @nyandcompany ♥️♥️ paired with a clear and gold strappy heel from @jessicarich."

Those who have been following the R&B singer know she has come a long way. Earlier this year, February, the TV show host revealed she had finally achieved one of her longtime goals.

The 43-years-old revealed to "MadamNoire" that losing weight was one of her goals, and she achieved it by knocking off a whopping 50 pounds off her weight.

Speaking with "Page Six," the "Woman" record producer said the artiste's music had nothing to do with the sexual abuse charges against him.

Those who have tried to lose weight know how much of a challenge it can be, and the singer's experience was no exception. She, with the support of her fans, had to go on a full eight months ride.

The singer, who ended up winning the "NPC Texas Cup," documented her weight loss experience in a social media documentary called "From One Stage to the Next." She also revealed the most significant challenges of her weight loss program:

"Oh my God, cheese and wine. Those two were it right there. Cheese and wine and not getting enough sleep. Sleep is very, very important when you're training, and it's hard to find that extra sleep."

The singer-songwriter also spoke about the music industry and the scandals rocking the scene. She was particular about the recent charges against R kelly and the guilt people felt when they listened to his songs.

Speaking with "Page Six," the "Woman" record producer said the artiste's music had nothing to do with the sexual abuse charges against him.

The performer asked that people learn to receive inspiration from the accused artiste's music without feeling like they are supporting his crime.

Johnson had collaborated with R Kelly in the past to write and produce some of her hits, including "I Am Your Woman" and "Guess What."
