American Star actress, Sheryl Lee Ralph looked elegant as ever during the recent Truth Awards as the TV icon took pictures with the Wade family and their daughter, Zaya Wade.

Sheryl Lee Ralph was one of the guests celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
On the red carpet, the "Dream Girls" star looked radiant with several dignitaries, the star-studded event. Also, in able attendance was the Wade family.
Sheryl stood smiling with the family as they all posed for a shot on the red carpet.
While Dwyane looked exquisite in his custom-made tuxedo with a touch of pink, his actress wife, Gabriel Union, rocked a plunging suit in similar colors with her hubby's.
Their transgender daughter, Zaya, was not left out as she rocked a green blazer jacket worn with a pair of black pants and a stylish pink sash around the waist.
The young girl smiled vibrantly for the camera as she completed her chic look with a pink purse.
This event was a milestone for young Zaya, who made her Truth Awards debut while identifying with the LGBTQ family.
According to CNN Entertainment, Zaya's proud dad took to his Instagram page, where he shared a captivating image of Zaya as she struts like a model.
In his caption, Dwyane informed fans of his daughter's identity. He added that the Awards night was Zaya's first red carpet event. The loving dad continued in his caption:
"She has emerged as one of the young faces and voices for the LGBTQ+ community."
The Truth Awards is an event set aside for the recognition and celebration of achievements of the black LGBTQ society and its allies.

The event also centers on cherry work, such as scholarships for the LGBTQ+ youth.
