Reba McEntire Urges Fans to Never Take Time with Loved Ones for Granted after Her Mom's Recent Death

Reba McEntire experienced heartbreak following the death of her mother, Jacqueline. On the anniversary of the death of her friends in a plane crash, she stressed the importance of spending time with loved ones.

Jacqueline McEntire died two days before the 29th anniversary of an airplane crash that killed Reba's friends, and the singer posted a heartfelt tribute to her mother and her late friends.

In an emotional post on Instagram, Reba shared a picture of her friends who died in that unfortunate plane crash 29 years ago, along with a touching caption.

In the caption to the post, the 64-year-old narrated how she lost her friends in the plane crash, adding that the timing of her mother's passing and the airplane crash anniversary seemed appropriate.

Reba, however, believes that her mother and her friends are now in heaven, taking care of each other. She left her followers with a bit of advice, saying:

"Let's keep finding ways to take care of each other down here on earth and never take one moment with your loved ones for granted."

Reba announced her mother's passing on March 14, on her Instagram page. The 93-year-old died as a result of cancer. In the caption to the post, Reba said her wonderful mother made the cross into heaven.

The mother of one further said that she was glad that her mother died knowing that she was loved and that the whole family knew how much she loved them too.

The singer had asked her fans to donate to the "Reba McEntire Fund."

Reba also thanked everyone for their prayers, cards, calls, visits, care-givers, and expressed gratitude to God for the time He gave them to spend with Jacqueline.

Not long after making that post, the "Does He Love You" songstress made another post announcing that her mother's funeral has been postponed over coronavirus concerns. In the post, she said:

"...We have decided to indefinitely postpone Mama's funeral and burial at this time."

Reba added that her family would continue to monitor the situation and let everyone know as soon as possible, the developments regarding the celebration of Jacqueline's life when it becomes safe for all to attend.

Since her mother's death, fans of Reba McEntire have been reaching out to her, offering their prayers and support to the country singer.

The singer has asked her fans to donate to the "Reba McEntire Fund." The donations would benefit the Jacqueline McEntire Library Fund in place of flowers.

Just like Reba said in her post, people must never take the moments shared with loved ones for granted. Those moments should be cherished and held on to forever.
