Meghan Markle's Life Facts, from Strained Family Relationship to Catholic School and Designing
All eyes have been on Meghan Markle since speculations about her relationship with Prince Harry surfaced, but there may have been some facts about the Princess that is still not known to many.
Meghan Markle was already used to the media before meeting Prince Harry, given that she was a celebrity and a star of the famous television show "Suits."
However, things got worse for Markle as she deepened her relationship with the royal and realized how harsh the press could get after their wedding.
Despite all the headlines about Markle, there is still much to know about the Duchess of Sussex's life before she met Harry, including family drama, self-esteem issues, and challenges that took away her happiness.

Here are a few facts about Markle that make people realize, she's just like the ordinary human with problems of her own.
SISTER DRAMA
It is no secret that Markle is not on good terms with her half-sister Samantha Markle. In fact, Samantha despises her sibling so much as to write a book that puts Markle in the negative light.
The half-sister whom Markle shares a father with admits that "The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister" won't flatter the royal at all, if not, quite the opposite.

In an interview, Samantha revealed that she hasn't spoken to her sister since the latter part of 2014. She recalled the last words Markle said:
"I love you, babe. I'm really glad we had this conversation. Keel in touch."
"DEAL OR NO DEAL"
Although Markle loved acting when she was still in school, she didn't get a good role in the industry as fast. Like everyone else, she had to make her way to the top slowly.

While auditioning for television shows, Markle became a briefcase girl on "Deal or No Deal," which she really hated.
Her experience involved looking pretty while standing for a long time in "inexpensive five-inch heels," waiting for the contestant to choose the number on her case so she could leave the stage and rest.
THOMAS MARKLE THE LIGHTING DIRECTOR
The royal was accustomed to working behind scenes even before she became famous. Her father, Thomas Markle, worked as a lighting director, which sparked interest in his daughter's acting.

Even during the time she lived in her second home, Canada, Markle would volunteer in soup kitchens to feed the homeless.
Markle would join her father after school when she was just a child on the set of "Married with Children" and "General Hospital."
GOING TO CATHOLIC SCHOOL
Markle went to Immaculate Heart High School in 1991, an all-girl Catholic institution that influenced a lot of her beliefs. Her parents were also Protestant Christians and raised their child with the same values.
"Every day after school for ten years, I was on the set of "Married with Children,' which is a really funny and preserve place for a little girl in a Catholic school uniform to grow up," she said.

FREELANCE CALLIGRAPHY
Since she was highschool, Markle had already mastered cursive writing until her skill turned into a side-line job to earn extra money.
Her beautiful hand-writing landed her jobs to make wedding invitations for the likes of Robin Thicke and Paula Patton as well as Dolce & Gabbana's celebrity holiday correspondence.
BROKE MARKLE
The duchess' net worth may be worth millions now, but there was a time when the "Suits" star went broke and she couldn't afford to have the door of her car fixed.

For months, Markle had to climb in her car vita the boot and would pretend to be looking for something before getting in.
GOING WITH HER SECOND NAME
Apart from being a strong independent woman, Markle has a lot in common with her "Suits" character, including the name Rachel.
The former actress had the birth name Rachel Meghan Markle but decided to adopt her second name as her screen name.

A GOOD HEART
Before having the duty to do charitable work as a royal, Markle already had humanitarian experiences as she worked with several organizations, including One Young World, Women's Political Participation and Leadership, and World Vision.

Fashion is something Markle carried with her from her days as an actress until she became a royal. Although her style has evolved over the years, she still keeps up with a particular way of dressing.
