Christopher Cuomo of CNN's 'Cuomo Prime Time' Has Tested Positive for COVID-19

CNN host and journalist, Chris Cuomo, revealed that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

Although he is best known for “Cuomo Prime Time,” a CNN news analysis show, Chris Cuomo won more hearts when he began interviewing his elder brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, via video chat during the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, however, the journalist is in the news after he confirmed that he tested positive for the virus.

As for his personal life, Chris married Cristina Greeven, who used to be an Editor-in-Chief for magazines owned by Modern Luxury, in 2001.

According to People, Chris broke the news with a statement which he released via Twitter stating that he had been exposed to people who previously tested positive for coronavirus. Due to that, he had begun to experience chills, a fever, and shortness of breath.

The presence of those symptoms prompted him to get tested, and when the test came back positive, he subsequently quarantined himself in the basement of his home.

Chris has already started streaming “Cuomo Prime Time” from the basement, according to a video shared by the show’s Twitter handle.

His brother also addressed the news about Chris’ diagnosis during his March 31 coronavirus update when he stated that there was “a lesson in this.”

While Andrew wished his brother well, he didn’t miss an opportunity to take a dig at Chris as he said that the latter wasn’t as strong as he thought.

Amid the ongoing events, Biography shared that Andrew and Chris began bonding at a young age as their father, Mario Cuomo, had a tight schedule as the then-governor of New York. When Chris left for Yale in 1988, it was Andrew who dropped him off at school.

As for his personal life, Chris married Cristina Greeven, who used to be an Editor-in-Chief for magazines owned by Modern Luxury, in 2001.

The couple share three children: two daughters, Bella and Carolina, and a son, Mario.
