Kim Kardashian Admits KUWTK Production Shut down for 7 Days after Brawl with Sister Kourtney

Members of the Kardashian klan appear to be going through a bit of a rough patch in their relationship. Now, it’s affecting production on their TV series too.

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian West appeared on a home-taped edition of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. There, she confirmed that the recent fight she had with her sister, Kourtney, ended up halting production on their show.

The fight in question came on this season’s premiere of Keeping up With the Kardashians. In a clip, Kim and Kourtney engage in a bit of a back and forth over the latter’s apparent lack of dedication. The situation got so bad that Khloe had to step in to separate the pair. Still, even her best efforts were in vain.

Shockingly, Kourtney got up from her seat and hurled a bottle at Kim. A retaliation followed, and it turned into an all-out brawl between the pair. There were hits, slaps, and even kicks. Ouch.

Last year, Kourtney told her sisters that she wanted to step back from the show and to film altogether.

In her interview with Jimmy Fallon, Kim explained that things between herself and her sister aren’t quite peachy. She also threw a little shade at her little sister.

“It was pretty intense. I feel like it’s been a lot of built-up resentment from Kourtney, or just feeling like she doesn’t really want to film anymore.”

As it turned out, this isn’t the only problem that the pair have been having. A separate sneak-peek for the season shows the sisters exchanging expletive-filled insults as they argue. It all ends when Kourtney leaves the room and tells Kim to “shut the {expletive} up.”

Kim and Kourtney have been involved in some severe spats over the years. This season, however, it appears that it’s all reaching boiling point.

It’s still unclear whether the sisters have made up. However, the problem of Kourtney not filming as usual as she does has been a significant one for the family over time.

Last year, Kourtney told her sisters that she wanted to step back from the show and to film altogether. Since then, she’s criticized Khloe and Kim for not understanding her need to set boundaries.

Kourtney explained that she wants to put her energy into enjoyable things and live a more fulfilled life. As she sees it, this doesn’t necessarily include the show and all the filming, but her sisters don’t get that. Hopefully, they can get over this tension soon.
