TI's Daughter Deyjah Reveals She Has Been Battling Depression and Anxiety for 7 Years

T.I.'s daughter Deyjah Harris opens up about her struggle with depression and anxiety in a new YouTube video. The reality TV star reveals she's been struggling with her mental health for seven years.

Deyjah Harris made headlines after T.I. revealed that he accompanies his daughter on yearly gynecologist visits to ensure her "hymen is still intact." Due to the publicity that it brought on Deyjah, the 18-year-old had to deal with depression and anxiety.

Deyjah revealed she's been suffering from depression and anxiety since she was 11-years-old.

THE IMPORTANCE OF DEALING WITH MENTAL HEALTH

Growing up in the public light, Deyjah had to deal with criticisms from left and right. On top of this, she revealed that she was bullied in school that led her to feeling many things growing up.

Acknowledging the importance of mental health, Harris decided to share a video on YouTube about mental health, to remind followers that regardless of how flawed a person can be, there is nothing that needs to be "added or taken away from who you are as a person."

DEALING WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES SINCE SHE WAS A YOUNG GIRL

Deyjah revealed she's been suffering form depression and anxiety since she was 11-years-old. Through the years, she's had to deal with bullying in school among many other factors, which led to her having to deal with mental health issues growing up.

Now that she's a lot older, she's decided to speak about the rather sensitive topic, hoping to encourage other people to continue with their recovery process and to take their time.

"Mental health doesn't discriminate. You'll never be the exception to recovery so just remember to treat yourself warmly."

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT

A new trailer for "T.I. & Tiny: Family and Friends Hustle" was recently released, and it revealed Deyjah speaking up about the controversial gynecologist issue for the first time. While it did not disclose much, fans are in for a wild ride this season.

To further add to the storyline, Tiny admits that her husband has a certain way of overexaggerating that could easily be misunderstood by people, pertaining to the issue he had to face with Deyjah.

With the new season drawing near, fans will finally get to see the ins and outs of the issue, putting an end to all their speculations.
