It’s been a little over a year since Grammy-winning recording artist Nipsey Hussle died. While the world misses him, his loss remains freshest in the mind of his girlfriend, Lauren London.

The picture showed the couple in happier times, as they stood at the location of his clothing store (The Marathon Clothing) and posed for pictures.
The post also included a sweet tribute to her late partner. Born Ermias Ashgedom, Nipsey died on March 31, 2019, after he was gunned down in front of his store.
The shooting happened at the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, and Nipsey died before bystanders took him to a nearby hospital. At the time of his death, Nipsey was 33 years old.
Tributes immediately poured in from every corner of the entertainment industry. Authorities classified his shooting as a gang-related activity.
London has done more than celebrate Nipsey on the anniversary of his death.
This means, amongst other things, that they’ve not been able to make much progress in finding his assailants.
One year on, his memory remains fresh in the hears of friends, family, and fans. London wrote in the caption for her tribute photo,
“Time is deceptive. It’s been a year since you transitioned. The pain is as heavy today as it was a year ago. God knows I would give anything to see you again.”
She added that God’s mercy had carried her up to this point, adding that she will continue to carry the pain of his loss with purpose.
The couple shares a son, 3-year-old Kross Ermias. However, the rapper also has an 11-year-old daughter, Emani, who he fathered in a previous relationship.
London has done more than celebrate Nipsey on the anniversary of his death. The actress runs his clothing company now, and they recently partnered with PUMA for an ad campaign.
In a recent ad, she honored Nipsey by reading a poem by his sister, Samantha Smith. The video reel shows Lauren driving across Los Angeles and passing by several memorials for the rapper. Nipsey lives on.
