Fantasia Barrino Shares Sweet Video of 8-Year-Old Lookalike Son Dallas Spelling Words
R&B singer, Fantasia, called her eight-year-old son smart when she shared an adorable video where he was spelling words.
Singer, Fantasia Taylor, described her 8-year-old son, Dallas, as smart in an adorable video she shared on Instagram. In the clip, Fantasia was seen asking her son to spell different words, and Dallas spelled in response.
Fantasia captioned the video explaining that although he missed one of the words, she didn't stop because Dallas would have known she was recording him.

She added that she was trying to make home school fun amid the ongoing quarantine period. Taylor concluded her caption by encouraging people to stay indoors and stay safe.
Dallas was welcomed to the Barrino family in December 2011. He was born Dallas Xavier Barrino. Speaking about her son's birth, Fantasia said:
"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."
Prior to his birth, the singer had continuously shared details of her pregnancy with her fans. In August 2011, she broke the news of her pregnancy to the audience at a Florida charity event.
A few months after her announcement, Fantasia revealed the gender of her baby, adding that she was placed on bed rest as she approached delivery.
Fantasia rose to fame after winning the third season of reality singing show American Idol in 2004.
Although Fantasia is only 35 years old, she is already a grandmother to two children. The singer is married to Kendall Taylor, who has a son named Treyshaun.
Treyshaun is father to two kids, Khoen and his youngest son Kyan who he welcomed earlier this year. Overjoyed about the arrival of her new grandchild, Fantasia excitedly shared the news. She wrote:
"Let's give a Rock Soul welcome to the new addition to our family! Kyan Jeremiah!!! We are absolutely proud of @treybrice2 @_kmccarthy for being masterful parents at such a young age."
Speaking about their roles as parents and grandparents, Kendall and his wife revealed having kids and grandkids had shifted their priorities, especially as they tried to balance family life and business.
In a 2019 interview, Fantasia disclosed that meeting her husband had helped her find herself and had equally helped her become the woman and artist that she was.
Fantasia and Kendall got married in 2015. Aside from Kendall's son, Fantasia has two children; Zion and Dallas from past relationships. Fantasia rose to fame after winning the third season of reality singing show American Idol in 2004.
