NEGLECTING "LIVING SINGLE"

Carson, who played Kyle Barker on the series, says he was fired from the show for calling out the company for neglecting "Living Single" for "FRIENDS." Behind the scenes, it was difficult for the show to be put together, as priority was given to another show.

"Both shows were Warner Brothers shows on Warner Brothers lots. So to watch that, to be on our lot, and to watch that, was really kind of a slap in the face."

SPEAKING UP FOR THE GROUP

When the cast felt the need to confront producers about what was going on, it'd always be Carson who'd speak up. This didn't bid well with the producers, who implied that he was the reason why everybody else was experiencing issues.

The producers believed that the cast members listened to Carson the most, and it was causing problems. However, the actor ensured them that they were dealing with grown-ups, and they could make decisions for themselves.

GETTING FIRED FROM THE SHOW

Ultimately, he was fired from the series and that was the end of his career on the hit show. It wasn't an easy experience for Carson, but he acccepted it for what it was.

"I understood the importance of the job I had. I understood the importance of what these characters meant to my community. And so when I came to you with a problem, it's because of that, not because of ego. They looked at it as ego."

Despite being removed from the show, T.C. remained in good terms with his co-stars. In fact, he and Erika Alexander made sure to get together on the show's 25th year anniversary, celebrating the friendship they've built through the years.
