Alicia Keys is busy promoting her new memoire "More Myself: A Journey," and her good friends Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams made sure to send her love and support as she launches the book.
Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Alicia Keys has been busy promoting her latest memoire which she hopes would bring hope and inspiration during such uncertain times. Luckily for her, she was given a boost of encouragement by her friends Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams, who decided to endorse her.
According to Alicia, the TV host taught her a lot about "gratitude, and grace, and being a BOSS."
OPRAH'S ENDORSEMENT OF ALICIA'S BOOK
Oprah decided to reminisce about the first time Alicia visited "The Oprah Show," where she hit THE note in "Fallin." As soon as she heard it, Winfrey revealed that she knew Alicia was special.
"She just carries the Light with her and I have a deep admiration and love for her."
SERENA WILLIAMS' ENDORSEMENT OF THE BOOK
Alicia was pleased to hear about Oprah's kind words, ecstatic to receive her endorsement. According to Alicia, the TV show host taught her a lot about "gratitude, and grace, and being a BOSS."
Likewise, Serena Williams also made sure to share about Alicia's new book to her followers, expressing her excitement to read her own copy of the book. She made sure to let Alicia know how proud she is, reminding people that despite everything happening, it's still possible to do "#socialdistancereading."
SERENA WILLIAMS' SELF-ISOLATION
Serena Williams was one of the first celebrities to announce that she and her family would be self-isolating for six weeks amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Soon after, states around the country would follow suit and impose lockdowns on the people to try and flatten the curb brought about by the virus.
