CELEBRATING 26 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY

Now that it's been 26 years since the show premiered, they made sure to celebrate it on social media. Aside from a throwback picture, Tia shared the story of her and her sister going from network to network to pitch their show.

By the time they pitched their show to network executives, they have only been living in Los Angeles for three years. Regardless, this didn't stop them from facing top executives in different networks as they were positive they wanted to become actresses.

Without a proper script to act with, they used their personal stories to get the message across, and it ultimately paid off for them. As for what they can say to people who are trying to achieve their dreams, Mowry says this:

"Go for dreams and never give up! Don't stop! Believe in yourself. Don't let someone else write your story, you be the author of your book."

While they both hold degrees at Pepperdine University and had the chance to travel the world because of it, they ended up back in the industry as it's a place where they thrived.
