Age is nothing but a number when it comes to the affairs of the heart, and renowned sports champion, Bernie has proved this to be true. Marriage isn't a new subject to the former race car star who married his recent wife, Flosil Fabiana, in 2012.

Bernie has enjoyed previous marriages with other women and managed to father three girls, Tamara, Petra, and Deborah, from his past relationships.

The new addition is not just the couple's first child together but their only son. After revealing the news to a media outlet, the expectant dad gave his perspective on age differences. He said:

"I don't see there's any difference between 89 and 29. You've got the same problems, I suppose it's alright."

He also explained that it was rather too soon to start to surf for names for his unborn child. One of his daughters, however, shared her excitement for the parents, via a spoke-person.

His prowess as the former Chief of Formula 1 is due to the outstanding commitment and passion for his career. Though he wasn't born with a silver spoon, Ecclestone managed to create world breaking records and ended up becoming a billionaire.

He is currently self-isolating in Sao Paulo, Brazil, following the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Bernie ran the racing business for over four decades and turned it into a multi-million enterprise before his retirement. Speaking about their unborn son, both parents seem to want different things for him.

While the businessman established that he would love to play backgammon with his son, Flosil stated that it wouldn't be a problem if he didn't follow his dad's footsteps.

She said, "...we have only one wish: the child must be born healthy. Hopefully, he will never express the intention to do something with Formula 1."

The billionaire is a grandfather of five and great grandfather of one. He is currently self-isolating in Sao Paulo, Brazil, following the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
