People: Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Are Ecstatic about Having a Baby Amid COVID-19 Crisis

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are having baby blues. While the coronavirus continues to rage on, the couple won't be letting even that dampen their spirit as they expect their bundle of joy.

Earlier this month, People Magazine confirmed that the couple is feeling overly happy about their unborn child. Citing a source, the news medium explained that the couple understands that a baby is a responsibility.

However, they're delighted about being able to focus on the child, and they're very expectant. Katy and Orlando have had a whirlwind year so far. The source continued,

"“Katy really hopes everything has calmed down with the virus by the time the baby will be born this summer.”

The couple has been engaged for over a year, and Katy revealed the baby news early last month. Last week, they confirmed that their unborn child is a girl.

Like many things that this couple does, the baby reveal was also pretty peculiar. For the reveal, Katy shared a picture of a smiling Orlando on her Instagram.

Their wedding is still on, and they will be welcoming their baby girl in the summer.

The actor had his face covered with pink cream, and he was grinning from ear to ear. Of course, they've been taking the necessary precautions to ensure their safety during this pandemic outbreak.

While they understand the severity of the situation, the ecstasy of their upcoming bundle of joy is still radiant. The source explained to People Magazine,

The couple, however, is on full lockdown mode. Orlando had a bit of a scare when the virus broke out, as he was stranded in the Czech Republic with the cast and crew of his new show, "Carnival Row." While he wasn't sick, they had to stay in quarantine for a while before they could leave.

When they got home, reports confirmed that Katy was especially cautious. Since then, however, they've been together and have been enjoying each other's company.
