Savannah took to her Instagram page to announce the imminent return of the show, which was termed "USA's First Family" for its 8th season. The video showed images of 7 members of the family and some of the funny moments to be expected in the coming season. The short clip was captioned,

"WE ARE BACK!! SEASON 8 OF CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST?❤️? #chrisleyknowsbest @chrisley_usa."

Fans of the family and their reality show were thrilled about the news and most took to the comments section to share how delighted they feel about the series coming back soon.

The star is also excited to be back on TV. Although the show hypes Savannah, she revealed that she's been suffering from anxiety thanks to the rapidly spreading COVID-19. Back in March, the 22-year-old dropped a selfie on Instagram which she captioned:

"I have been so anxiety filled with what's going on in our world today. I am the worrier of the bunch. I have stayed up until four or so…"

She, however, had a session with her therapist that helped her to calm down. Ms. Chrisley stated that a person's mindset is what brings about stress and anxiety, and she has now chosen to remain optimistic about the current situation of the world.

The 22-year-old also encouraged her fans to practice social distancing as recommended by the government. This is not the first time a Chrisley family member has been through a rough time. Last year Todd and Julie were charged with tax evasion and other financial crimes by a federal grand jury.

The couple pleaded not guilty on the 14th of August 2019, but the issue did not die down for a while as it was fuelled by an interview of Kyle, Todd's estranged son during which he claimed that his father did not pay taxes.

Kyle, who was hospitalized at the time of the case, later explained that all that he said was untrue. Via a Facebook post, he said:

"...You guys don’t have the facts, and I need to set the record straight once and for all. Everything I said in my interview was a lie."

The Chrisley family supported Kyle all through his stay in the hospital. He was admitted after he had an adverse reaction to drugs.

The family has also had its good times. Two years ago, they celebrated 100 episodes of their show, which has been a massive success so far.

During the 100th episode, Todd went down memory lane with the rest of the family: the highlight was when he tricked his mum, Nanny Faye, into thinking she was arrested to teach her a lesson.

The best-known star of the show also thanked all his fans who had stuck with them all through the good and the bad times.
