Deion Sanders' Teen Daughter Shelomi Shows Basketball Moves for Favorite Tik Tok Challenge

The lockdown necessitated by the coronavirus pandemic has caused people to remain indoors in a way to protect themselves from the ravaging virus that has killed thousands of people all over the world.

Since the lockdown began, the internet has been serenaded by several challenges, with people doing all they can to keep boredom away and reach out to their friends and loved ones.

The latest trending challenge is the #Toosieslide challenge made famous by music star, Drake, who also released the song, "Toosie Slide," to go along with it.

Shelomi Sanders, an athlete and daughter of Deion Sanders, got in on the challenge and shared a video of herself doing the steps, albeit with a basketball. In the caption to the post, the teen wrote:

"new favorite challenge #toosieslide[emoji] follow me on TikTok- shelomiii_ ."

In the video, the teen showed her dancing and basketball skills, crossing the ball over her legs, and performing the Toosie slide too, all while wearing flip flops. She was quite impressive, and her friends and followers were also awed.

Her father was among those who commented, writing, "Daboo." Another fan described Shelomi as the "Basketball Girl Boss," while a third person said that the teenager aced the challenge.

In a 2012 interview, Pilar's attorney said that his client was heartbroken about the divorce proceedings filed by Deion Sanders.

Shelomi's father, Deion Sanders, has been married twice, first to Carolyn Chambers from 1989 to 1998, and Pilar Biggers from 1999 to 2013. He shares two children with Carolyn, and three with Pilar.

While both marriages ended in divorce, the baseball player's separation from Pilar Biggers proved to be a messy affair that became public, with allegations and counter-allegations coming from both sides.

In a 2012 interview, Pilar's attorney said that his client was heartbroken about the divorce proceedings filed by Deion Sanders and had been a faithful and supportive wife to him, who was still committed to their marriage.

The attorney further said that Pilar didn't know about the divorce until she read about it on TMZ. However, Deion Sanders' daughter, Deiondra Sanders, then 19, moved to quash Pilar's claims on Twitter.

In a barrage of tweets, Deiondra said that Pilar was a gold-digger, and questioned her commitment to the marriage and her children.

The divorce was later finalized in 2013, and in 2014, Pilar was sentenced to a seven-day jail term for contempt of court and lost all the visitation rights to her children. She was later granted the visitation rights, although Deion Sanders has full custody of their children.
