Teresa Giudice Pays Tribute to Dad Giacinto Gorga with Dove Release Ceremony 4 Days after His Death
Teresa Giudice has now lost both her parents following the death of her father. During the funeral, she paid a sweet tribute to him with some white doves.
Last Friday, Teresa Giudice of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" fame said goodbye to her beloved father, Giacinto Gorga, who was 76. The death came three years after Giudice lost her mom.
This week, Giudice, her four kids, and other family members held a memorial for the late Giacinto. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, only immediate family attended. The post is found below.

Saying goodbye in a special way
Wearing traditional black for the event, the family gathered around a table with two large cube-shaped containers. The boxes were decorated with white and blue roses and looked gorgeous.
They gathered around one box, and almost everyone opened it together to let out what waited inside. With a little prodding, a white dove flew out of the container.
How the family honored Giacinto
The family then did the same for the second box, releasing two doves this time. According to People, the camerawoman was Melissa Gorga, Giudice's sister in law and her RHONJ co-star.
Using her camera, Melissa followed the birds as they came together in the sky before flying behind a building. "Today we set you free, fly high to Mommy," wrote Giudice in the caption.
How Teresa is getting through
The reality star's mother, Antonia Gorga, died at the age of 66 from pneumonia. Last week, Giudice said her only solace was in believing that her parents would now be together.
When she announced the sad news in a lengthy Instagram post, Giudice called her father her "protector" and "hero" whom she traveled with and who always encouraged her to enjoy life.
What he did for his wife
Giudice recalled how her father would visit his wife every single day she was sick. When he couldn't, he made up for it by going twice a day. Our heart goes out to the entire family.
The cause of death for Giacinto has not yet been revealed. People magazine reported that he visited the hospital several times within the last few months.
Who he's leaving behind
The funeral for Giacinto took place in New Jersey. He is survived by his daughter Giudice, her estranged husband Joe, and their daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana.
Giacinto is also mourned by his son Joe and wife Melissa, as well as their children, Antonia, Gino, and Joey. Our deepest condolences go out to all of them.
