Shavar Ross from 'Diff'rent Strokes' Looks Great at 49 & Has a Beautiful Daughter Chelsea
His Dudley character holds a very special place in the heart of an entire generation that grew up enjoying his occurrences. His versatility in acting quickly made him play demanding roles at a very young age.
Almost everyone can remember Shavar Ross, 49, being part of the successful ‘80 sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes.” He played the role of Dudley Johnson, Arnold Jackson's loyal and sensible best friend, next to Gary Coleman.

However, in recent years, Shavar has been away from acting, and has been dedicated to business and his family. On his Instagram account you can see different images where the former actor looks happy as a family man. Especially those pictures of his beautiful

OTHER APPEARANCES
Besides the TV show, Shavar and his colleague, Gary Coleman, were together for the '80s film "Scout's Honor," but from there he continued his independent career. Shavar acted as the son of Detective T.C. in "Magnum, P.I." and as Weasel in "Family Matters." He also appeared on the fifth part of “Friday the 13th”.
After several years of acting, Shavar stopped his career to studying. He enrolled in Bible School at The Ministry Training Institute. There he studied for four years to obtain his degree, and then devoted himself to ministry, pastoring a small non-denominational church for actors.
WHAT IS HE DOING NOW?
Shavar operates his own film and television production company, “Tri-Seven Entertainment”. Through this company, he keeps writing, producing and directing his own independent material. He lives in Los Angeles and has been married since 1992.
He married his wife and “best friend”, Jacqueline, at age 21 at The White Chapel, in Las Vegas, and they have two kids. Jacqueline is a former news anchor. To celebrate through his social media, Shavar wrote on his 26th anniversary:
“Wife and I are celebrating our 26-year wedding anniversary today y’all! The photo is actually our wedding pic: December 15, 1992. Las Vegas. #LittleWhiteChapel. Knowing her less than 2 months, I was like, “I don’t know your last name but we are gettin’ married today woman!!”
