According to Madame Noire, Tracee Ellis Ross shared a throwback photo of her “From a different time” that got people, including her ex, Abou “Bu” Thiam, talking.

Until she meets the man of her dreams, however, Tracee has made it clear to her fans and some media outlets that she has no intentions of discussing the state of her love life.

The image which showed the “Black-ish” star staring straight at the camera as she cooled off in a swimming pool, has garnered 171,000 likes so far.

It didn’t take long before Abou dropped two heart-eye emojis along with the compliment, “but still fine,” in the comment section.

While many were surprised to see Abou’s comment, Madame Noire noted that it was nothing new as he and Tracee have maintained a friendly relationship over the years.

In fact, Bu previously shared that his ex-girlfriend was usually the first person to wish him a happy birthday every year.

The post and flirty comment come just months after fans and media outlets began speculating that Tracee was in a relationship with “Black-ish” creator, Kenya Barris.

Although the exact timeline of their speculated relationship has remained unclear, sources informed LoveBScott that Kenya filed for divorce from his wife of 20 years, Dr. Raina “Rainbow” Barris, back in August 2019.

Regardless of what her relationship status might be, Tracee has become famous for focusing on the relationship she has with herself. During an interview with Glamour, the actress made it known that:

“I’ve cultivated a relationship with myself where I know I have choices…. I have a toolbox of ways I can find support; journaling is helpful, or meditation.”

Until she meets the man of her dreams, however, Tracee has made it clear to her fans and some media outlets that she has no intention of discussing the state of her love life.
