Meghan McCain Reminds Fans to Stay Home While Celebrating Easter during Quarantine

"The View" co-host Meghan McCain sent Easter greetings to her fans on social media and reminded them of the importance of staying at home amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

Meghan McCain wished her followers on Instagram a safe and happy Easter celebration, reminding them to stay home even as they marked the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Accompanying Meghan's post was a picture of a cactus plant dressed like the Easter Bunny and a picture of chocolate bunnies wearing masks, another reminder to fans to wear masks to avoid contracting COVID-19.

In the caption to the post, the expectant mother, who announced late last month that she was expecting a baby, wrote, "Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter! #stayhomesavelives." Many of her followers commented on her post, with most of them wishing her and her family the best of the season. One fan wrote:

"You too, Meghan. Next Easter you will have your child, celebrate with you in a new world, filled with kindness and empathy... That's one View we should have in common."

Meghan McCain announced that she and her husband, Ben Domenech, were expecting a baby. In a long note, the television personality said that both her families were excited to share the news.

Meghan also said that after consultations with her doctors, she was advised to be extra vigilant and cautious about limiting the number of people she came in contact with, to protect herself and her baby.

Other celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Vanessa Bryant, Hannah Brown, and others, shared pictures and videos with their fans.

The 35-year-old also said that she would start self-isolating, and would be making her appearances on "The View" from her home, via satellite, stating her gratitude to ABC, for making that a possibility.

In conclusion, Meghan acknowledged the efforts of health workers, grocery and pharmacy workers, journalists, Police and Military officers, who are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle, adding:

"Please stay safe. Wash your hands and avoid public gatherings, and I will continue to see you each morning on "The View."

Meanwhile, Meghan wasn't the only celebrity to enjoy the Easter celebrations from home amid the quarantine and lockdown necessitated by the novel coronavirus.

Other celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Vanessa Bryant, Hannah Brown, and others, shared pictures and videos with their fans showing how they were celebrating the holiday.

Jennifer Lopez shared a cute family video of herself, her husband, Alex Rodriguez, and all their children. Katy Perry, on the other hand, shared a photo of herself dressed as a bunny.

Vanessa Bryant shared cute pictures featuring her daughters, while Hannah Brown shared a funny video and a photo of herself enjoying a glass of red wine with a bunny.
