Famous actor and singer, Jussie Smollett, celebrated National sibling's day by taking to social media to share a series of throwback photos that featured his five siblings.

Last week, Smollett celebrated the National sibling's day by sharing a montage of photos that included his five siblings. Some of the pictures were throwbacks that also featured his then young parents.
Though the pictures were taken at different points in their lives, the siblings seemed to be sharing an inside joke in all of them as they could all be seen sharing laughs while posing for the camera.
Smollett captioned the heart warning post using several emojis and a #NationalSiblingDay hashtag. Fans of the Empire co-star took to the comments section with compliments and positive opinions.
Smollett is currently awaiting trial; however, he has stated that he will not be giving up till justice is served.
Most agree that he has a close-knit and beautiful family, while others took the opportunity to reveal how much they miss him. Smollett made his return to social media earlier this year after going AWOL in June 2019.
For his comeback, he posted a video that saw him singing a section of Stevie Wonder's classic hit "A Place in the Sun." Jussie captioned the post.
"Hope y'all are staying safe, spread love and kindness... not Rona."
Jussie also began his post writing "Quarantine day 421," referencing the exact number of days he has spent out of the public eye since he reported an alleged attack to the authorities.
Back in January 2019, Smollett told the Chicago Police that he had been attacked in the early hours of the morning by two men who had masks on and hurled racial and homophobic words towards him.
In February, the 37-year-old actor was indicted by special prosecutor Dan Webb in Chicago. According to E! News, a press release alleged that Smollett was indicted for making false claims that he was the victim of a hate crime.
Smollett is currently awaiting trial; however, he has stated that he will not be giving up till justice is served.
