Simone Biles Shows off New Level of Handstand Challenge
Gymnastics star Simone Biles put her twist on the ongoing handstand challenge, and while she made it seem very easy, it might be impossible to beat.
Lots of people can manage a handstand but not while doing something else. Although if you are a renowned gymnast like Simone, it would probably be a walk in the park.
Simone took to Instagram to post a video of herself where she took off her bottoms while she was doing a handstand. To top it all, she was able to do it all under a minute!

The gymnast was prompted by the ongoing handstand challenge, which involved putting on a shirt while doing a handstand. The challenge gained momentum when actor Tom Holland posted a video of himself trying to complete it.
Tom then went ahead to nominate his co-star Jake Gyllenhaal to beat the challenge. Jake was able to do it without the slightest hint of struggle, so he teased Tom about his inability to do it:
"Wait. @tomholland2013 What's the challenge??? Shirtless heavy breathing??"
However, his victory was short-lived as US Olympian, Lolo Jones, was able to put on two shirts and take a sip of wine while balancing on his hands.
Simone still managed to outperform all of them, and this does not come as a surprise because she was able to bring home four gold medals from the last Olympics.
Although the Olympic games have been postponed, there is a high chance Biles will remain on top in 2021.
Biles is also the most decorated gymnast in the history of world championships as she has amassed 25 gold medals so far.
Earlier in April, the 23-year-old gave a peek into her Olympics preparation in a clip which she posted on Instagram. The video showed Biles displaying her muscles and doing one of the exercises that helps her to keep them in tip-top condition.
The Tokyo Olympics has been moved forward by a year, but the gymnastics star has remained focused.
Biles has no problem with keeping her physical abilities intact, but the mental impact is not easy to deal with. She expressed her fear in an interview:
"...I was so ready to have that experience in three months; now it's pushed back another 15 months. That takes a toll on your mind."
Although the Olympic games have been postponed, there is a high chance Biles will remain on top in 2021. Simone might climb even higher if she follows through with some of the plans she has teased her supporters with.
The 23-year-old is very driven by putting her abilities to the test, and while the postponement might lead to a lot of changes, her sterling performance is likely to remain intact.
