Kevin Hart shared images of his happy elderly neighbors who received free food through his generous donation and partnership with a food delivery company.

Kevin Hart has a lot to be grateful for including his new lease on life and his recent announcement of his wife’s pregnancy. And to pay his blessings forward during this time of the pandemic, the actor has been donating food to the elderly in his hometown.

Hart revealed in a social media post that he partnered with food delivery service, Try Hungry to aid in feeding the elderly of Philadelphia during this health crisis.

Hart disclosed that he was drawn to the company’s Hungry@Home initiative which feeds those who are confined to their homes and cannot leave due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Hart’s revelation of his generous efforts comes just weeks after he and his wife, Eniko announced that they’re expecting their second child together.

“I love when my partners rise to the task and help facilitate getting food to our neighbors who aren't able to leave the house or their jobs,” he wrote to accompany photos of the happy recipients of the free food delivered to their homes.

He also shared that the food donated are  “hot and ready to eat chef made meals” and not simply canned goods.

According to ABC, these meals are prepared by professional chefs who value food safety and are delivered in sealed temperature-controlled bags. Moreover, for every two meals purchased through Hungry@Home, an additional meal is donated to Feeding America.

Hart didn’t reveal how far his donations go but his post marked only the beginning of his efforts. He further wrote, “we plan on continuing to feed the community and taking care of this city that I love so much.”

Hart’s revelation of his generous efforts comes just weeks after he and his wife, Eniko announced that they’re expecting their second child together. The mom-to-be shared the good news on Instagram by revealing a photo of her baby bump and captioning it “baby #2.”

Meanwhile, Hart used the same photo and used the hashtags, "#Harts #FamilyOfSix #Blessed #LiveLoveLaugh” to deliver the pleasant news.

Hart’s life took a serious turn when he figured in a September 2019 car accident. For months, the comedian worked towards rehabilitation after undergoing a surgery to treat his back injury.

In February, the actor proudly revealed that he was “slowly” recovering and gaining back his strength as he shared a clip of him working out. He also said in an interview with Men’s Health that his doctors advised him to slow down on his workouts and be patient with the recovery process.
