Peri Gilpin's Husband of 20 Years Christian Is a Talented Painter — Meet the 'Frasier' Star's Love
Actress Peri Gilpin, also known as Roz Doyle on “Frasier,” has been married to a talented painter for over two decades, and they share beautiful twin daughters!
Born in Waco, Texas, in May 1961, Peri has been involved in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years. Her first acting gig came in 1988 when she took a minor role in “21 Jump Street.”
Her life has not always been a walk in the park.

PERI GILPIN’S SUCCESSFUL CAREER
After that, she worked in “Flesh ‘n’ Blood,” “Wings,” and “Designing Women.” Her career skyrocketed, though, in 1993, when she began portraying Roz Doyle in “Frasier,” which served as a spin-off series and continuation of “Cheers.”
In the show, Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) moved back to his hometown of Seattle and started working on “The Dr. Frasier Crane Show.”
Roz was Frasier’s producer, and even though they were very different from each other, they ended up developing a very good friendship. Apart from Kelsey and Peri, other actors like David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, and John Mahoney also worked in the series.
“Frasier” proved to be a very successful reboot as the show and the cast won over 30 Primetime Emmy Awards between 1993 and 2004. For five years in a row, it won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series!

Peri kept herself quite busy in the entertainment industry during the following years, taking roles in “Uncommon Sense” and “Women of a Certain Age” and also working as a voice actress in “King of the Hill” and “Hellboy Animated: Sword of Storms.”
In 2009, she was cast as Kim Keeler in “Make It or Break It,” another very successful project that was canceled after three seasons.
CHRISTIAN VINCENT AND PERI GILPIN’S RELATIONSHIP
As per her romantic life, artist and painter Christian Vincent has been Peri Gilpin’s husband since 1999. As shared on the C24 Gallery’s website, Christian’s work has been exhibited in different museums in the US.
In 2004, after going “through fire” to have babies, they finally became parents of twin girls! On May 7, 2004, a surrogate mother gave birth to Stella and Ava Vincent.
As the couple told People, holding their daughters for the first time was the “best, best, best in the world, world, world.” The actress also revealed that the day they found out that they would be parents was one of the happiest of their lives.
Peri’s former “Frasier” co-star Jane Leeves shared her thoughts on her friend’s new responsibility:
“[Peri] approaches motherhood with great passion, the same way she approaches everything in her life. She will be a fantastic mother.”
SHE IS A CANCER ADVOCATE
Her life has not always been a walk in the park, though. In 1997, her mother passed away from leiomyosarcoma. According to the Mayo Clinic, it is an uncommon type of cancer that affects smooth muscle tissue.
Peri’s mother struggled with the disease for 14 years before it spread to her spine and eventually took her life. Ever since the death of her mother, Peri has been working hard to raise cancer awareness.
Back in 2002, she testified during a Senate hearing on the prevention, treatment, and research of breast cancer and pointed out that it was the type of disease that you don’t want to “stand around and wait for.”
Instead, she urged people to be proactive and to educate themselves on the risks and the things they can do to “screen for breast cancer.”
“FRASIER” REBOOT?
In recent times, it is easy to see how several TV shows from the past are coming back through reboots. Back in 2018, Peri was asked to give her opinion of the possibility of a “Frasier” revival.
Unfortunately, the actress pointed out that she wouldn’t want to harm the legacy of such a good show. Apart from that, some of the members of the cast of the original series, like co-creator David Angell and John Mahoney, have died already.

Finally, Peri Gilpin made sure to say that if everybody agreed on a revival, she would definitely be part of it! Who knows? Maybe we can get to see her portraying Roz Doyle again!
