Ashanti flaunted her glowing skin in her latest quarantine selfie. The singer impressed with her ageless aura as she delivered an Easter message to her social media followers

With self-isolation restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many women have freed themselves of makeup as they stay confined in their homes.

Ashanti proved how blessed she is with immaculately flawless skin when she recently shared an image of her makeup-free face.

The singer glowed in her latest selfies, a close-up revealing her clear facial skin. With her hair tied back, and her eyes closed, the 39-year-old 's fresh, blemish-free face proved her age is merely a number.

In the midst of this pandemic, Ashanti showed support for her sister who recently opened up about her abusive relationship and a past miscarriage.

“Sometimes you see & feel more with your eyes closed,” Ashanti explained in her caption which also wished her followers a pleasant Easter.

“Hope you guys had an amazing Easter/Resurrection Day and were able to share it with loved ones. Sending out love to those who weren’t.. dealing with pain & heartache.”

Ashanti ended her message by praying for the end of the health crisis that has plagued the world for months now.

In a second selfie, Ashanti's smiles as she looks at the camera, impressing fans with her natural beauty. She writes, "Jus a lil plain Jane thang from Long Island" in her caption.

In the midst of this pandemic, Ashanti showed support for her sister who recently opened up about her abusive relationship and a past miscarriage.

Kenashia Douglas rang in her 31st birthday with a video celebrating her life’s journey. Part of that journey was a painful past involving domestic violence and losing an unborn child.

She shared images of her with a black eye, bloody face and broken teeth. Suggesting she was once engaged, she also revealed she had been pregnant and alluded to losing her unborn child.

The video was reposted by Ashanti who expressed her pride for her sister. “One of the most resilient women I’ve been blessed to know,” she wrote to caption the clip. She assured Kenashia of her love by telling her, “the blood in these veins will NEVER BETRAY.”

Kenashia, a creative director and fashion designer, did not name her abuser in the clip but many believe it was her former boyfriend named Slowbucks. They were briefly engaged in 2016 and appeared to have ended their relationship between 2018-2019. Slowbucks is reportedly an entrepreneur who had ties to the late Nipsey Hussle.
