Michael Strahan Posts FaceTime Screenshot with Daughter Sophia & Says He Deeply Misses Kids
Former NFL star Michael Strahan is isolating in his home and away from his kids, in adherence to the nationwide lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. Lately, he opened up about missing his children in the caption of a shared screenshot from his recent Facetime chat with his daughter.

In his recent Instagram post, he shared a screenshot from a video chat that he recently had with one of his twin girls, Sophia. Strahan and his 15-year-old daughter were all smiles in the photo which he captioned,
"Missing my kids so much right now! Thankfully, we have FaceTime, so I can see their smiles! #LoveMyKids."
The father of four, Michael Jr., 25, Tanita, 28, Sophia, 15, Isabella, 15, is known to adore his kids openly. In a recent interview, the former New York Giants star opened up about his life as a parent of four children and cited his kids as his primary source of motivation.
He joked in the post's caption that his kids wanted to kick him out of the photo, but he wouldn't let them.
Michael shares his two eldest kids, Michael Jr. and Tanita, with his ex-wife Wanda Hutchins, and they stayed with their mother in Germany when the couple split in 2006.
Both of Strahan's kids with Hutchins later attended high school in Houston and college in Texas, closer to their father.
The "Good Morning America" co-host later married Jean Muggli in 1999, and they had their twin daughters, Sophia and Isabella, in 2004. Strahan spoke about making sure that his divorces don't affect his relationship with his children. He said,
" I look at my kids now, and it makes me happy because I know it paid off in my relationship with them."
Strahan is known to share photos of his kids on social media regularly. Last year, he shared a rare photo of his twin girls, Sophia and Isabella, posing alongside NBA basketball player Zion Williamson and himself.
He joked in the post's caption that his kids wanted to kick him out of the photo, but he wouldn't let them. Fans of the GMA co-host commented on how adorable Strahan and his daughters looked in the image.
The shared photo was one of the many that Michael and his daughters had taken at the red carpet of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards in July last year. The cute trio goofed around while posing for several photos ahead of the show's taping.
