Carrie Underwood Takes Part in 'I Stay Home' Challenge during COVID-19 Pandemic

Country singer Carrie Underwood's love for her children reflected through her #Istayhomefor challenge, which was inspired by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The mom of two took to her Instagram page to share who she stays home for. The picture shows Carrie smiling while holding on to pink cardboard on which she wrote: "#Istayhomefor my boys."

The country singer loves her two boys, Isaiah and Jacob, a lot to have based her response on them. Underwood also went ahead to nominate others to participate. The post was captioned:

"Thanks for the challenge, @dollyparton! #IStayHomeFor my boys. ? ? ? Now it’s your turn @bradpaisley, @kimberlywilliamspaisley…"

Carrie's post prompted some of her followers to participate in the challenge, in her comment section. The wife and mother loves her family so much that she also takes them with her whenever she has to go on tour.

Carrie expressed the joy she felt because they were able to join her on her latest tour, in an endearing Instagram post. The country singer revealed that the best part about the tour was the presence of her boys and husband.

Underwood also wrote that his growth is bittersweet for her.

Underwood hopes that she made her boys proud throughout the #CryPrettytour360. They watched her performances and even helped her out sometimes.

The singer went on her last tour after she had her second son, Jacob. The 36-year-old mom said she thought her body would recover just as fast as it did with her first son, but that was not the case.

She soon discovered that her body had changed significantly and had to go easier on herself. Carrie revealed the details in an interview with Today, during which she spoke about her journey as a mum:

"I stopped trying to be perfect immediately...And I started putting one foot in front of the other, instead of trying to plan…"

The challenges she faces as a mum has not stopped her from loving and celebrating her children. Her older son, Isaiah, turned five in February. The 36-year-old singer shared a picture of her holding him as a baby on Instagram.

Carrie captioned the post with a heartwarming message. She described his birth as a life-changing moment for her. Underwood also wrote that his growth is bittersweet for her, but no matter how old Isaiah gets, he will always be her baby boy.
