Bindi Irwin Shares Childhood Photo of Husband Chandler Powell Holding 'Crocodile Hunter' DVD
Bindi Irwin's husband is no stranger to her dad's legacy. From a young age, he was collecting DVDs of the famous crocodile hunter — and he may still have them.
On Monday, Bindi Irwin took to Instagram to share with fans the unique connection her husband has with her family. Of course, we're sure others are also collectors.
In a photo, Bindi shared a throwback photo of husband Chandler Powell holding up a DVD of the late Steve Irwin's show, "The Crocodile Hunter." The post is found below.

The young boy smiled from ear to ear, showing off a pair of two missing front teeth. He wore a white t-shirt as he held up the DVD in the sweet photo.
Bindi also shared an updated photo of Powell holding up what appeared to be the same DVD. This time, the animal lover wore his Australia Zoo uniform. He had the same smile, though.

Bindi and Chandler get married
"This makes my heart so happy," wrote Bindi in the caption. She also directed fans to a link that would allow them to purchase "Crocodile Hunter" DVDs.
Bindi and Powell became husband and wife in late March, nearly sticking to their scheduled date despite the coronavirus pandemic that's going on. Bindi spoke to People about their decision.
Why they didn't postpone amid COVID-19
"We thought about postponing, [...] we both just said, 'Look, we desperately want to get married, and no matter what the future holds, at least we'll be husband and wife," she said.
The pair canceled their formal wedding mere days before it was supposed to happen. Instead, they held an intimate ceremony attended by Bindi's mom Terri, her brother Robert, and Steve's friend Wes Mannion.

Paying tribute to her late father
In memory of the legendary animal hunter, they tied the knot in the garden of the Australia Zoo. Bindi noted that the location was very special to her father and was a place he'd filmed in for several years.
As a tribute, the wedding consisted of a photo of Steve and his dog set up on the easel, as if to have the animal hunter right there with them. The pair later shared heartwarming photos from the event.
In addition, the couple received a fig tree as a wedding gift from actor Russell Crowe. The "It's the Irwin's" star shared a photo of the fig and said thank you via Instagram. We wish the newlyweds well.
