According to People, the "Married at First Sight" alum, broke down in tears as she informed her Instagram fans that she just ran some tests for COVID-19 under the advisement of her doctor.
In the clip which she filmed in her car, the 33-year-old was heard saying that she felt "really, really ridiculous" that she spent so much time crying these days.
Jamie then added that she felt nervous about the outcome of the test as she worried about how she could handle "unmedicated childbirth" if a swab made her so uncomfortable.
The "Married at First Sight: Unfiltered" host shared that she and Doug couldn't believe that they were expecting as they were used to getting "negative after negative" on pregnancy tests.
Daily Mail noted that the TV personality and soon-to-be mother appeared overwhelmed and in tears as she told her followers:
"I'm so annoyed with myself for being such a wimp about this... I don't know how to reset my brain so I can just chill the [expletive] out."
Through the post's caption, Jamie encouraged fellow pregnant women to take the days one day at a time while offering a listening ear for those who wanted to vent about their situations.
Without hesitation, her followers took to the comment section to tell the "The Bachelor" alum that she was doing well. Others praised her for being real and sharing her pain with the world.
Just before she shared the update, Us Magazine reported that Jamie gave her followers a heads-up about her COVID-19 test through a video on her Instagram Story.
