Russell Westbrook's College Sweetheart & Wife Nina Earl Is Mother of His 3 Kids

NBA player Russell Westbrook is a family man. He and his wife, Nina Westbrook have three adorable children who have changed their lives. They both met in college and have been together all this time, now they have a lovely family and she is sharing it on her social media.

Easter was a good time to post some photos of how they are coping with quarantine time. In a recent post, Nina shared a couple of pictures while celebrating the holidays with her family at home. She wrote:

“We kept it quaint for Easter, but we had the perfect time with Nana, Uncle Ben & Gran Gran today. #Easter2020 #quarantine2020”

The Westbrooks started their family in May 2017, when their first child was born, a baby boy named Noah Russell Westbrook. Later, in November 2018, the family grew when the couple welcomed their twin girls, Skye and Jordan.

The NBA player has been a proud dad from the beginning. He once said in an interview when he had his first child, how important it has been for him to be a father. He mentioned he started to think about what was best for the child, and everything in life revolved around him.

LOVE STORY

Russell and Nina met while in college at UCLA in 2007, by the time they both were star athletes. Nina even had an athletic career in high school and college as impressive as her future husband, so they had a lot in common.

During her time at UCLA, Nina as a freshman started playing in 15 games and scoring in double figures 11 times. Her team bio describes her as “one of the fastest players on the team.” The couple dated for years and became engaged in 2014.

In August 2015, they got married in a star-studded ceremony at the famed Beverly Hills Hotel. The bride wore two dresses, one by Vera Wang and another by Monique Lhullier. Some of the guests included Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Serge Ibaka, Dorrell Wright, and James Harden.

SPLENDID WIFE

Besides being a mom, Nina runs a boutique in Oklahoma City called “The Little Ark”. The retail shop specializes in items for moms and babies and offers classes for parents and children. She is also a professional therapist.

Russell has publicly spoken lovingly about his wife. When receiving his 2017 MVP Award for the Oklahoma City Thunder, he said of her through tears:

“You make sure that I’m on the right track and I’m so, so appreciative of you because you sacrificed so, so much for me. Every single day. And I can’t thank you enough”

The Houston Rockets guard and his wife, also have a foundation named “Why Not?”, which is currently working to give financial aid to the city's poorer communities and to those who have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
