Tim McGraw's Fans and Their Moms Could Star in His Special Mother's Day Video

Country music singer Tim McGraw has a special treat for one lucky mother to celebrate Mother’s Day on May 10, 2020. He took to social media to share the news.

McGraw, 52, is celebrating this year’s Mother’s Day with a special announcement. Last Thursday, the star took to his Instagram account sharing a black-and-white throwback image of his mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Trimble.

In the caption of the post, the country music singer wrote: “Moms are amazing, and we're making something special to celebrate them!!” McGraw continued: “All you have to do is send us videos of you and your mom, and we might use it in our video!”

All submissions need to be sent through by Friday, May 1, 2020, to qualify. Besides being very close to his mother, McGraw also has a very special connection with his wife and fellow singer, Faith Hill.

McGraw and Hill met in 1994 backstage at a Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. At the time, McGraw had a girlfriend and he recalled: "For me, there was an intense physical attraction. I guess my girlfriend saw it in my eyes. She said, ‘I don't want you around her.'"

However, the pair didn’t hook up for a while as he asked her for a date a couple of times. Their first date was at Hill’s house where McGraw won her over with cooked chicken, dumplings, and cornbread.

The rest, as they say, is history as the pair were married in October 1996. Most McGraw fans know how the star prefers wearing a hat as often as possible.
