A SAD CHANGE OF PLANS

If not for the global pandemic, Simone Biles would have been getting set for a journey to Tokyo, Japan, for the Summer Olympics, which was scheduled to hold in July-August.

However, due to COVID-19, the Olympic Games and some other scheduled sporting activities were postponed till next year. In an appearance on "Today," the gymnast poured out her mind on how she felt about the postponement. She said:

"I didn't really know how to feel. I just kind of sat there. I cried, but ultimately it was the right decision."

SIMONE BILES WANTS EVERYONE TO REMAIN SAFE

Biles further said that everyone in the U.S and the world at large needed to be healthy and safe, adding that though the postponement was hard to take, it was the right thing to do.

With the postponement, the Olympic Games will now hold on July 23 to August 8, 2021. This means that Biles would have to wait another year to compete, but she has no worries about that.

However, while she has been at home, Simone has been keeping fit and in shape with some workout routines, including ab work, arm work, walking her dog, and another routine she termed "twerkout."
