Bill Wither's Daughter Kori Is a Gifted Singer like Her Late Dad
The late Bill Withers has a daughter named Kori Withers, who shares his same passion for music, and has dedicated her career to being a singer and songwriter.
On March 30, 2020, the legendary hitmaker Bill Withers died at 81-years-old from cardiac arrest at the Providence Tarzana Regional Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.
Bill left a lasting legacy when he created timeless songs such as "Lean On Me," "Lovely Day," and "Ain't No Sunshine."

Beyond his platinum-selling records, his passion for music has continued with his family through his daughter named Kori Withers.
Much like Bill, who took a break from music in 1985 at the peak of his career to resume a private life, very few details are known about Kori, who also likes to guard her personal life.
According to The New York Times, Bill divorced his first wife actress, Denise Nicholas, in the 1970s. He went on to marry Marcia Johnson in 1976.
Bill and Marcia had two children together; a son named Todd and their daughter, Kori. He was survived by his wife and children.
She is a singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Grammy Award Winner, Scott Jacoby produced her new single, and it is an interpretation of her father's song "Ain't No Sunshine."
Her passion for music and songwriting is just as reflective as her father's vision to touch people's hearts with her music through a story.
During a performance in January 2020, Kori broke down in tears while performing an emotional song. Her fans commented on the video and expressed how heartfelt her performance was.
She can play the piano and guitar, and often performs in intimate settings such as bars, lounges, and local festivals with her live band in tow.
It is reported, Kori is married to a man named Adam. The couple met at Columbia University in 1997 and wed decades later in 2019.
During the wedding, Bill had the honor of walking his daughter down the aisle. She incorporated her love for music into the ceremony by singing a love song she had written as part of her vows to her husband.
