Aoki Lee Simmons's followers on Instagram didn't agree with her when she stated that her hair was messy in a recent video. They believed her hairstyle looked beautiful.
In a recent Instagram clip, Aoki expressed concerns over her hairstyle, which she described as messed up. The video featured Aoki wearing a white blouse while her hair was done into a curly afro. Although the 17-year-old believed the hairstyle was messy, her fans didn't seem to agree to that.
While one fan wrote: "I LOVEEEEE THE FRO!!! Free the FRO girl!!!???"another user commented: "Beautiful❤❤❤??????. " A third follower also added that she thought the hair looked cute.
In the video, Aoki explained that she was going to see her mother's reaction to her new hairstyle. Kimora's room was, however, too dark, which inspired Aoki's caption. She wrote:
"What’s wrong with you?” It’s so dark in her room, ? try and turn the brightness on your phone up or something sorry! #boredinthehouse."
Although Simmons is only a teenager, she is no stranger to getting public attention due to her mother's popularity. Aoki's first exposure to public appearance was as an 18-month-old baby.
The then-toddler who was strapped on her mother's hips appeared alongside Ming Lee to celebrate Kimora at the "Baby Phat" runway show. Between 2007 and 2011, Aoki went on to make appearances on their mother's reality TV show, "Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane."
In the summer of 2018, Aoki also spent most of her time engaging in volunteer work across Europe.
Last year, Aoki made her parents proud when she got accepted into Harvard. In a video on her Instagram page, Simmons read out her acceptance letter while sharing the news with her followers. She captioned:
"I’m going to Harvard, baby!..... thank you so much to every single person who helped me along the way. I am excited and honored, and so so grateful. ????????? #harvard2023"
The young teen has also made her parents proud thanks to her philanthropic works. Last year, she traveled to Bali with her father, Russell Simmons, where they co-hosted a fundraiser for earthquake and tsunami victims.
In the summer of 2018, Aoki also spent most of her time engaging in volunteer work across Europe. She worked as the youngest archeologist on the Pollentia Roman dig in Spain.
During her stay at home, she has shared several Tik Tok videos on her Instagram. It appears young Aoki is enjoying her time at home!!
