Meet Tiger Woods' 2 Kids Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel

Tiger Woods is a golf legend who's also a family man. As his kids get bigger, the spotlight is shifting towards the progeny of the iconic sportsman.

Tiger Woods made another mark in history when he went down as having the second-most PGA tour wins at the end of 2019. The achievement spans decades of dedication to the sport of golf.

Woods, known for his passion on the green grass, is also dad to two beautiful children who he welcomed during his marriage to supermodel Elin Nordegren.

MEET SAM ALEXIS

The couple first welcomed daughter Sam Alexis, on June 8, 2007. Sam was named after Woods' father, who had the nickname growing up. Woods' dad passed away in 2006.

Sam's birth came a mere day after the golfer won at the 2007 US Open. Woods took time off to spend with his first child. He then went onto win the World Golf and the PGA Championships the same year.

MEET CHARLIE AXEL

On February 8, 2009, Woods welcomed his son, Charlie Axel. The baby boy came some months after Woods was forced to pull out of the US Open due to a double stress fracture in one of his tibias.

By the end of February, Woods was back on the grass. His June US Open run failed. Throughout his career, Woods has taken a keen interest in other sports, often bringing his son along to watch legends besides himself.

NEARLY MISSED HISTORY

Of course, the kids also go to see their dad play at championships. At the 2019 Masters, the kids were supposed to fly in from Florida to see their dad complete.

However, as Woods explained on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio, they wouldn't have been there if his daughter's soccer team had made it to the state cup finals. Her baby brother refused to go without her.

CHOOSING THEIR OWN PATH

Sam's team didn't qualify, but there was still a traffic delay on the Sunday morning of their arrival. Woods finally saw them early on in the game and didn't again until the end.

So far, neither of his children have shown a keen interest in golf, but Charlie's already displayed his natural talent for the sport. He's also doing soccer like his sister.

WOODS' PERSONAL LIFE

Woods and ex-wife Nordegren ended with a lot of drama after a marriage that lasted less than a decade. The pair got married in 2004 at a private Barbados ceremony and divorced in 2010 amid cheating scandals.

Woods has since moved on to girlfriend Erica Herman. In April 2020, he shared a photo of his blended family situation as he enjoyed dinner for the Masters Champion with his family.
