Late in April, Chris shared that he finally tested negative for the disease after spending weeks batting the virus in his basement at home. When Chris started recovering, his wife Cristina contracted the disease in turn.

Now, alongside a happy snap of himself, Chris shared his excitement at returning to a more regular work routine and simply wrote, “I’m back in studio tonight #LetsGetAfterIt.” Fans quickly responded with an equal amount of happiness:

However, Chris and his wife Cristina may have recovered from the disease, but just before the end of last month, the couple shared that their 14-year-old son, Mario, had also contracted the virus.

During an update on his CNN show, Chris told his brother, Andrew Cuomo, that the virus had “worked through the family,” after his son started displaying the same symptoms Cristina experienced.

“It was me and Cristina, and now Mario has the same symptoms she had, and he’s got the coronavirus,” Chris said. “It’s working its way through, but they’re doing fine.”

Mario’s symptoms started shortly after Chris came out of quarantine, and in an update about her own health status, Cristina also shared more on her son’s condition.

After struggling with the ups and downs of COVID-19 for ten days, Cristina found herself “working hard” at nursing Mario back to health.

The fact that he also contracted the virus left Cristina, as a mother, feeling like her “heart hurts” more so than anything else. In addition to giving Mario a lot of vitamins, Cristina said that she is also using a “modified version” of her remedies for COVID-19.

Even so, Cristina found the time to give Chris a new haircut to go with his newly recovered state. While the CNN host initially planned on doing the job himself, “the missus” stepped in to give him a brand new look that has him smiling from ear to ear.

Chris Cuomo did, however, manage to return to his daily workout routine after emerging from their basement at home as well.

For his first post-virus workout, Chris went for a 25-minute walk up and down their driveway before he headed back inside for 20 minutes on the elliptical machine and some light arm exercises.,
